Rolled into town at midnight after our vehicle was having engine issues. Stopped at the Malad hotel, it was locked with no one in sight but I called the number and someone was there in 10 minutes to let us in and get us a room. Room was clean and for a good price. Highly recommend!
Room was very ,very clean . I thought the rooms were a little small. Did have any lights in hallway. Overall nice room. My wife thought it was really quiet. We thought with the bar down stairs it would be had to get to sleep.

Such a great experience. The owner Rick was quite accommodating. We did not have a room reserved and showed up after 10 pm. He was so nice, helped us check ourselves in, and to top it all off we locked ourselves out of our room at like 1 in the morning and he answered the phone and was super nice about it. Would def recommend.
The lobby was outstanding!!! Old 50's type! Even an old phone booth! The room was Very clean, very impressive! Clerk was very courteous! Very impressed with the cleanliness! Took us in a moment's notice and even stayed to make sure we got in. Only only problem was no hot water....
Great location if you are in Malad for business or want to explore the town. You get what you paid for, this is not a chain hotel, it has a small staff operating it and the bar downstairs. (You need to call the number on the front door to get checkin service, but the lady is onsite, not a big wait). The single rooms have a queen size bed, a fridge, microwave, a TV and a table with 2 chairs. While the room walls are pretty bare, the small bathroom had stone tiles that have it more character. The shower pressure could be better. There is also a window AC for when it's too hot. Despite the low temperature outside during the night (Sept), the temp in the room stayed pretty constant.
Clean, and simple. Just what you need for a safe place to stay overnight. Loved it's convenient location to all the events at the Welsh Festival.
We called around ten thirty on a Friday night and got a room reserved. We got there around eleven and was greeted by a very personable friendly man. For being an older hotel in an older town it was REALLY NICE!!! Don't let the outside fool you. It's recently been redone and was very clean and smelled nice. Easy parking and access. Very affordable and we had a fridge and coffee and hot coco in our room. We highly recommend!!!!!! Thanks for a great experience for ya and our kiddos.
